Leaving The House

We have now been isolating for almost three months and some days I feel like I will never return to the way life was before Covid. I have become used to working on the computer until midday and then going for a long walk in our local forested park. Then I usually have a nap and then read or play a computer game in the afternoon. Then I enjoy making dinner and watching a new Netflix crime drama. Last week businesses re-opened at fifty percent capacity for restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Stores are accepting a smaller number of customers. I have never liked shopping so this is no great draw. I will probably go sit in my favorite coffee shop soon to write, but have honestly saved a lot of money by eating at home. My gym is still closed so walking and doing on-line yoga with a friend are my only forms of exercise now. Covid has reinforced my hermetic nature in ways that may not be entirely healthy. I am much more technologically reliant than I was before. I am spending more time chatting with Twitter friends than real people. Will your life go back to the way it was once Covid is over or has it changed permanently?
